Why CSBC?

CSBC is in the business of promoting safe and responsible boating in Canada.  By actively promoting key safety messages nationally, by means of: Safe Boating Awareness Week campaign, sponsorship of an Annual Symposium, Cold Water Boot Camp video, SmartBoater.ca and the Canadian Safe Boating Awards (CASBA).  The CSBC is dedicated to making sure the general public and community partners are given the tools to educate the public on the importance of safe boating. In 2010, the CSBC national survey taken soon after Safe Boating Awareness Week found that 62% of Canadian boaters had heard at least one of the CSBC 5 key messages in the previous 2 weeks.  The program is showing very significant results in making boaters aware of marine recreation risks by learning more about how to prepare themselves for a pleasant day on the water.

Les 5 mesures-clés de sécurité nautique

5 steps lifejacket
